Instructions for making preprints

Preprint number

To get a preprint number one needs to leave the paper to the editor or to the office. After the preprint has been accepted it is assigned a number, which is passed to the authors. The number is of the form HIP-2001-XX / A, where A can be TH, EXP or TECH. The numbering of the internal reports is separate and of the form HIP-2001-XX. Internal reports include material, which have ISSN and ISBN numbers, e.g. thesis and progress reports. The titlepage of the paper is either produced in the office or it can be made by the authors after the preprint number is given. To avoid misprints, it is recommended that the authors make the titlepage by themselves.

Paper copies

The administration pays up to 50 copies of the preprints. Larger amounts have to be agreed for each paper with the administration (Erkki Pajanne or Hannu Luutonen).
