The activity in the Detector Laboratory is physics and project driven. The aim of this set of pages is to show the present fields of interest and initiate possibilities for future projects.

Presently, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and its particle-physics experiments at CERN are the strongest driving force for the work in the Laboratory. There is also a research group participating in the NUSTAR experiment of the future FAIR collider. In addition, the Electronics Research Unit of the Department of Physics is active in the Laboratory. However, the Laboratory is always open for new interesting ideas.
