Teaching at Detector Laboratory

Special study works, graduate theses and doctoral theses are continously being done in the scientific projects hosted by the Detector Laboratory. In addition, teachers and students from high schools and other educational institutes are regularly visiting the Laboratory.

During the autumn 2008 a practical laboratory course about detector technologies was held in the Detector Laboratory. The course financed by Nordforsk benefited 20 Nordic post-graduate students. All the personnel of the Laboratory participated in the tuition by acting as teachers in several assignments where the students manufactured and tested both gaseous and semiconductor detectors.
