Towards a quantum theory of inflationary perturbations

The quantum theory of cosmological perturbations in inflation is formulated in terms of a path integral and appropriate Feynman rules are derived. I will comment on the application to the computation of primordial non-Gaussianity, discuss the role of gauge invariance in such computations and draw some general conclusions on what the detection of primordial non-Gaussianity will mean for the physics of inflation.
