DOCTORAL DEFENCE

Terhi Järvinen will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled “Precision measurements of Bs mesons in the CMS experiment at the LHC” in the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki, on 18 December 2017 at 10:00. The public examination will take place at the following address: Physicum,auditorio E204, Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2 A.
Professori Ulrik Egede, Imperial College London, will serve as the opponent, and Professor Paula Eerola as the custos.

The graduate student stipend can be awarded for a period of one year or a half year, preferably for the period 1.7. – 30.6. or 1.7. – 31.12. to a student who has been accepted by the university as a doctoral student.

THE FOUNDATIONS’ POST DOC POOL´S SPRING CALL 2018
The pool grant offers young scholars flexible funding from one source that covers all expenses of a research period abroad for at least one academic year. The grants are intended only for sending researchers abroad from Finland.
