Fulbright-Technology Industries of Finland Grants (Postdoc)

Suomalainen Tiedeakatemia julistaa haettavaksi Vilho, Yrjö ja Kalle Väisälän rahastosta apurahoja matemaattis-luonnontieteellisille tutkimusaloille. Rahasto tukee erityisesti matematiikan, fysiikan, meteorologian, geofysiikan ja astronomian aloilla tehtävää tutkimusta.
Apuraha tohtoriopintoihin mahdollistamaan vuoden mittainen (26.000 euroa) ansiotyöstä vapaa työskentely.
Apurahoja tutkijoille lyhytaikaisiin tutkimusvierailuihin ulkomaisissa yliopistoissa ja tutkimuslaitoksissa.

TSV välittää tieteellisille seuroille opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriöltä saatavan valtionavustuksen julkaisutoimintaan ja kansainväliseen toimintaan. Tukea voidaan myöntää myös Suomessa toimivien yleistieteellisten seurojen ja tiedepoliittisten yhdistysten korkeatasoisen julkaisutoiminnan kuluihin.
Vuoden 2024 avustuksia haetaan 1.-30.9.2023 verkkolomakkeella, johon kirjaudutaan seurakohtaisen käyttäjätilin tunnuksilla.

The Walter and Andrée de Nottbeck Foundation
The Nottbeck foundation prioritizes Tvärminne based research, which contributes to understanding the structure and function in complex marine ecosystems. Presently the focus of research is in understanding functional biodiversity, biogeochemistry and long-term changes in the marine environment in relation to eutrophication and climate change. An important part of this work is modelling and synthesis based on long-term data.

Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation
The Magnus Ehrnrooth foundation awards grants annually for researchers working in mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, and medical chemistry. The foundation is one of the most important foundations that support research in these areas in Finland.
