Då kan du ansöka om ett stipendium från Stiftelsernas post doc-pool för en utlandsvistelse för åtminstone ett läsår – med alla kostnader inkluderade. Av en motiverad orsak kan också kortare vistelser på minst 6 månader stödas och kompletterande finansiering beviljas.

Säätiön tehtävänä on tukea tieteellistä sekä soveltavaa tutkimusta ja kehitystyötä myöntämällä apurahoja hankkeiden toteuttajille. Inter-Country Travel Grant
Invite U.S. Fulbright scholars, teachers, professionals and advanced PhD students to Finland. Fulbrighters need to be on their Fulbright grant period during the Inter-Country visit (a maximum of 1-week visit).
Please note that the application needs to be sent to the Fulbright Finland Foundation six weeks before the planned visit.

(In Finnish) Vilho, Yrjö ja Kalle Väisälän rahasto
Suomalainen Tiedeakatemia julistaa haettavaksi Vilho, Yrjö ja Kalle Väisälän rahastosta apurahoja matemaattis-luonnontieteellisille tutkimusaloille. Rahasto tukee erityisesti matematiikan, fysiikan, meteorologian, geofysiikan ja astronomian aloilla tehtävää tutkimusta.
Apuraha tohtoriopintoihin mahdollistamaan vuoden mittaisen (29 000 euroa) ansiotyöstä vapaan työskentelyn.
Apurahoja tutkijoille lyhytaikaisiin (1–6 kk) tutkimusvierailuihin ulkomaisissa yliopistoissa ja tutkimuslaitoksissa sekä ulkomaisten tutkijoiden kutsumiseen Suomeen.
Post doc -apuraha alkuvaiheen (enintään 3 vuotta väitöksestä, urakatkokset huomioidaan) post doc -työhön mahdollistamaan kahden vuoden mittainen työskentely (40 000 euroa / vuosi).

The Post Doc Pool’s Autumn application round will be open from 15th August until 15th September, 2026. Some 1.6 million euro will be awarded in grants.

Kone Foundation supports research in the humanities, social sciences and environmental sciences, as well as artistic research. We support artistic work in all fields of art, as well as multidisciplinary work combining art and research.

TSV välittää tieteellisille seuroille opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriöltä saatavan valtionavustuksen julkaisutoimintaan ja kansainväliseen toimintaan. Tukea voidaan myöntää myös Suomessa toimivien yleistieteellisten seurojen ja tiedepoliittisten yhdistysten korkeatasoisen julkaisutoiminnan kuluihin. Tuki myönnetään vuodeksi kerrallaan.
TSV:n jäsenyys ei ole ehto avustusten hakemiselle.
Vuoden 2027 avustuksia haetaan 1.-30.9.2026 verkkolomakkeella, johon kirjaudutaan seurakohtaisen käyttäjätilin tunnuksilla.

The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV)
The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) facilitates the state subsidies for publication activities and international activities from the Ministry of Education and Culture to scientific societies. Subsides can also be granted to general scientific societies and science policy associations active in Finland for their high-quality publication activities expenses. The subsidies is granted for one year at a time.
Membership in TSV is not a requirement for applying grants.
Applications for the year 2027 are to be submitted between 1-30 September 2026 via an online form, which is accessed using the society’s user account password.
